Thught it was wonderful how the medical profession set up lockdowns and quarantines,closed places where people tend to aggregate and congregate – cinemas, theatres, pubs, churches etc, restricted gatherings at weddings and funerals, coped with the extraordinary influx of very sick, sometimes dying patients, organised and set up the vaccination service. Much to admire and be thankful for. How much worse would the pandemic have been if they hadn’t been there?
